David Draper is an experienced entrepreneur and financial executive with an extensive background in managing multiple million-dollar projects. Founding member of EPIC ESG, a leader in global clean energy technology. Founder and CEO of DS World Sentry, providing specialized equipment and services to the energy sector.
Steve Picco
Senior VP, Environmental and Governmental Affairs, EPIC ESG
Steven Picco is a retired environmental and energy lawyer with extensive public and private sector experience. A former Assistant Commissioner of both the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) and the New Jersey Department of Energy, he currently serves as Vice-Chair of the New Jersey Water Supply Authority.
In addition to his service on the New Jersey Water Supply Authority, Steven has served as a Commissioner and Chair on the Delaware River Basin Commission, as a designee member of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority and on the boards and committees of other governmental, civic and charitable organizations within the region and nationally, including serving as Chairman of the RWJ University Hospital at Hamilton, and Chair of the Northeast-Midwest Institute, a policy research group supporting the congressional delegations of the Northeast and Midwest regions of the country. He was also a founding Director of the Hopewell Valley Community Bank.
Retired from the active practice of law, Steve works with his consulting firm, GEAN Group LLC, providing clients with strategic planning, project development, and governmental affairs support, and links to specialists throughout the United States and the European Union. With this incredible knowledge base and skill set in hand, Steve has been a wonderful addition to the EPIC ESG Management team and Board of Advisors!
Michael Brown
Business Development & Finance
Michael graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a degree from the School of Public and International Affairs and a certificate in Latin American Studies.
Bill Brock
Business Development & Finance
Bill is a cum laude graduate of Harvard College (BA) and a graduate of The Harvard Business School with a master’s degree in business administration (MBA).
His career in financial services began with investment banking at MerrillLynch and subsequently led to executive positions at First Boston and Goldman Sachs. In addition to investment banking, Bill held senior positions in the fixed income capital markets department and was the global head of the medium-term note product area. While holding these positions, Bill had extensive interaction with Fortune 500 companies and major corporate and sovereign entities in Europe and Asia. He also headed a fixed income derivative desk at Salomon Brothers.
Bill has also been the president of an internet company focused on the middle market merger and acquisitions business and founded a leveraged buyout firm which successfully invested in a portfolio of middle market industrial companies.
Mark Pollock
Insurance & Risk Management
As a sales and distribution partner for Clark Bardes, Mr. Pollock assisted in a key role to develop and build a new industry product line which became known as BOLI (Bank-Owned Life Insurance). Over a 7-year period, Mr. Pollock generated over $5 billion in sales to large, publicly-traded banks, which had tier 1 capital in excess of $100 billion. Clark Bardes, after completing an Initial Public Offering on the NYSE, sold its BOLI portfolio and corporate enterprise to insurance giant, AEGON in 2006.
Falls Advisors was formed to consult with and distribute multiple proprietary products throughout the country focusing on funding solutions for Green projects, real estate transactions, governmental entities, Native American Tribes, capital projects with off-take agreements, nonprofits including hospitals, and endowments, and estate planning structures for high-net-worth clients.
Mark graduated with a B.S. in business from Miami University and received his Chartered Life Underwriter “CLU” and Chartered Financial Consultant “ChFC” degrees from the American College. Mark has also previously held a series 6, 63, and 7 Securities license with FINRA.
Zubin Khambata
Energy Sector Expert
As a manager of pre “Final Investment Decision” (FID) project development, Zubin was responsible for developing business opportunities into sustainable business cases, implementing project structures and development of projects to FID for Exmar. In addition to managing pre-FID project development, Zubin was Manager for Floating Liquified Natural Gas (FLNG) Projects overseeing the interface of the technical and operational management of FLNG assets with the commercial structure of the contractual agreements. In his role on the Business Development Team at Exmar, Zubin worked to identify business opportunities in natural gas supply chains for FLNG assets, structure business proposals to clients, perform techno-commercial Due Diligence of projects, and evaluate project financial viability.
Since 2018, Zubin has been able to bring his impressive professional experience and passion for sustainable energy use to bear through his role as General Manager of GNL Talcahuano, SpA, a 100% regional, medium-scale floating LNG terminal in south-central Chile.
Zubin received his Master of Science in Nautical Sciences at Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Advanced Maritime Studies and Research in Mumbai, India. He subsequently received his Master of Science in Maritime and Port Management from the University of Antwerp’s Institute of Transport and Maritime Management as well as his Master of Business Administration from the Vlerick School of Business at the University of Leuven, Belgium.

With more than two decades of organizational leadership experience and expertise — as organizational development strategist, university and medical school educator, and executive leadership development consultant — Dr. Finch has helped high-impact leaders achieve success in demanding national and international environments.
Greg’s senior leadership in public, private, academic, and nonprofit organizations alongside a decade of organizational consulting with Fortune 500 executives, national environmental advocates, governmental and environmental agencies, health, and humanitarian and NGO entities energizes impact goals of EPIC ESG and its expanding constellation of socially responsible innovators, investors, and impact stakeholders.
Dr. Finch’s university adjunct appointments — George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences, GMU Center for the Advancement of Well-Being, and Georgetown University School of Theology — bring evidence-based rigor, vibrant curiosity, and experienced pragmatism to his expertise in strengths-based leadership, cross-cultural and intergenerational communication, racial and gender equity, transition and change models that inform EPIC ESG operations alongside EPIC ESG’s humanitarian and environmental advocacy and initiatives with each project.
Greg holds a doctorate in BioMedicine and Aesthetics alongside degrees and certifications in Architecture and Environmental Design, Arts Management, and Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, Wesley Theological Seminary, The American University, and Texas A&M University, and was an Associate Fellow of the George Washington Institute for Spirituality and Health.
Jim Smollon
Director of Caribbean Operations
Having studied at the graduate level at Princeton University, The University of Chicago, and Rutgers University, Jim holds graduate degrees from Rutgers University and Princeton Theological Seminary, and a Professional Certificate from The University of Chicago.
Jim was a Founder, Chairman of the Board, and Development Director of Tabor House, Inc., a nonprofit housing community that serves men in recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction. He has been on the Grant Review Committee for The City of Trenton, has been licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Mortgage Broker, and has served on the Pastoral Care Staff of several local churches.

Kyle Barnette has been a leader and innovator in the technology sector for more than 20 years, developing critical database and security applications for enterprises such as Caterpillar, Clear Channel Communications, and others.
Kyle is the co-founder of PiEco which is leading the charge to revamp the global energy sector by blending advanced and proven environmental recycling technologies into existing energy production and distribution infrastructure.
Kyle also has extensive experience in the power and energy business. Prior to co-founding International Remediation, he was the Co-founder/Managing Partner of Turnkey Electric LLC, a diversified power-oriented company founded in 2004, which grew into a diverse multi-million dollar a year power generation sales and consulting business. During his tenure with Turnkey companies, Kyle was involved in the sales and construction consultation of over 250MW of power generation worldwide.
John Espina
Director, Global Security
John is an accomplished leader in security as a retired law enforcement professional who excels at analyzing, coordinating, planning, and resolving public and corporate safety and security. He is an executive who possesses extensive knowledge and experience, spanning the public and private sectors.
Prior to joining EPIC ESG, John was responsible for managing a $2 Million security budget, spanning three campuses between NYC and Long Island. Experienced in project management, risk mitigation, and threat assessment, John successfully planned and collaborated with campus stakeholders in various re-opening phases due to the COVID-19 pandemic. John brings his expert knowledge and experience in leading and managing both internal and external operations and investigations to EPIC ESG project sites around the globe, aided by his experience in policy development, strategic planning, personnel management, training, and development.
Donna Miele
Energy Auditing Expert
Donna has managed business initiatives of varying size and financial scope, from multi-million dollar brick-and-mortar business projects to business-to-business cost reduction services. She brings a focus on client communication, process improvement, and staffing to effectively direct business initiatives tailored to each client’s needs.
Donna has worked for over twenty years in the utility auditing and cost reduction services industry. Through her broad business background, she has designed auditing processes and client relations protocols that led to streamlined and minimally invasive client interactions, consistent identification and successful implementation of savings opportunities, more transparent client reporting to ensure clients are kept abreast of the progress of an audit and the results achieved, and strong long-term client relationships. As a Principal in Utility Bill Pros, LLC she brings extensive knowledge in interpreting rules and regulations that govern utility billing developed through 20+ years of experience in the utility auditing industry.
Moreover, she values technology as an enabler and has ensured her firm leverages technology through the design of auditing and bill modeling software, rate models, and energy management systems to identify errors, exemptions, better rating methods and beneficial service classifications, allowances, and discount programs to generate thousands of dollars in savings for her clients.
Donna has personally audited hundreds of utility accounts in the education, healthcare, not-for-profit, and real estate industries that have resulted in the identification of hundreds of thousands of dollars in savings.
In addition to Donna’s 20+ years of experience in the utility auditing industry, Donna held several senior management positions at various emerging growth and Fortune 300 companies including The New York Times, focusing on business strategy, process improvement, diversity and inclusion, human resource practices and client relations/retention operations.
Donna has a B.S. in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from St. John’s University. Over the years she has completed executive education programs at Stanford University and Columbia University.
Dr. Soo Ryong Kim
Public Relations & Government Affairs/Korean Investor Liaison
Dr. Soo Ryong Kim is head of ELT’s public relations with local and national governments, as well as outreach with the press and local neighborhood associates. Soo Ryong is also involved in business planning for ELT in accounting, finance, personnel affairs, and legal affairs.
Prior to Soo Ryong ‘s leadership role at ELT, she was the Special Advisor for the Seoul Metropolitan Government from August 2017 to December 2018. She was also the Chairman of Korea Women’s Leadership Special Committee. Soo Ryong also serves as the CEO of the Myungbo General Trading Company and as a Director of Public Relations at the Korea University for Science & Technology Studies.
Soo Ryong received her Master of Journalism and Mass Communication in February 2013 and completed her doctoral degree in 2019 at the Korea University Graduate School of Journalism.
